TECHNOLOGY IN THE CLASSROOM

At All Saints, we believe technology is a powerful tool—not a replacement for foundational skills. Our "Balanced Approach" ensures that students become digitally literate and prepared for high school while maintaining the cognitive benefits of traditional handwriting and face-to-face collaboration.

Key Educational Platforms

  • IXL (Math & ELA): A personalized learning program that adapts to each student's pace. It provides real-time tutorials and connects directly to our MAP Testing data to target specific areas for growth.

  • Lexia: An essential tool in our primary grades that helps students master phonics and decoding, ensuring every child is reading at or above grade level.

  • Google Workspace for Education: From 5th grade up, students become proficient in Docs and Slides, learning to collaborate, comment, and format professional-grade assignments.

Ethical Use & AI

In our middle school, we don't ignore the world's fast-paced changes—we teach students how to navigate them. Teachers lead discussions on Artificial Intelligence (AI), helping students understand its use as a "sentence starter" or research aid while emphasizing the importance of their own unique voice and academic integrity.
