Support Services
title one
Our Title 1 program is anchored by a team of veteran educators boasting a combined 169 years of experience. Serving students from Kindergarten through 8th grade, we provide a specialized environment where children receive the focused attention they need to thrive in core subjects.
Our Goal
To foster life-long learners who have the confidence to ask questions, the curiosity to seek answers, and the kindness to respect their entire learning community.
Our Unique Approach
We believe that every student is an individual with a unique learning blueprint. Our program is entirely student-centric, focusing on small groups of six or fewer to ensure no one is lost in the crowd. By meeting four times a week for 40-minute sessions, we bridge the gap between potential and performance.
Academic Excellence through Data
We utilize the i-Ready platform as our primary diagnostic tool. By testing three times a year, we don’t just "guess" where a student needs help; we use precise data to:
Identify specific gaps in reading and math.
Provide one-on-one explanations tailored to individual learning styles.
Monitor progress in real-time as students work through leveled, self-paced programs.
Integrating Faith & Curiosity
Education is more than just numbers and phonics; it is about forming the whole person. We integrate faith into every lesson by:
Modeling Christ: Teaching with the patience and kindness of Jesus, using the "What Would Jesus Do?" (WWJD) principle to guide social interactions.
Daily Reflection: Starting our day with Bible or Saint reflections to set a peaceful, focused tone.
Seeing God in All Things: Whether it’s marveling at the wonders of creation in Science or practicing honesty in Math, we encourage students to see the divine in their studies.
Traditions & Technology
We keep learning engaging through a mix of high-tech tools and classic classroom fun:
Interactive Displays: We celebrate learning by showcasing student work in Science, Social Studies, and Religion in our hallways.
Mind Games: We use "mind games" to sharpen critical thinking and make Math and Reading feel like a rewarding challenge rather than a chore.
Modern Tools: Every student utilizes individual laptops for i-Ready instruction, while our Smart Boards bring Science and Reading lessons to life.
english language learner (ELL)
Kate Griffiths, ell tutor

- Grade level/Subject: Kindergarten through 8th grade.
- Teaching Experience: 6 years
- Years at ASCA: 3 years
- Educational Philosophy: I strive to create a warm and safe environment to help students feel comfortable practicing and making mistakes while learning English. I focus on tutoring each student at their level of learning.
Mrs. Kate provides a supportive environment for English-language learners through 30 to 40-minute tutoring sessions and in-class support. Focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing, she utilizes specialized curricula like Big English to help students master phonics and vocabulary. By getting to know each student’s individual learning style, she is able to modify her instruction to ensure every learner thrives.
To keep lessons engaging, Mrs. Kate emphasizes hands-on learning over screen time, using technology only as a visual aid for new concepts. She is known for creating original games, such as "Go Fish" variations for action words and letter sounds, to make language acquisition both interactive and fun. Her balanced approach ensures that students grow more competent in English while enjoying a personalized, creative classroom experience.
social work
amy melillo, school social worker

Mrs. Amy serves as our part-time licensed social worker, supporting the social and emotional well-being of students across the school community. She works with individual students, small groups, and whole classes to help develop important social-emotional skills such as self-awareness, communication, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships.
In addition to working directly with students, Mrs. Amy collaborates closely with teachers to provide strategies and classroom supports that foster a positive, nurturing learning environment. Her work helps ensure that students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn, strengthening the connection between social-emotional development and academic success.
volunteers
All Saints is blessed to have many volunteers who generously give their time during the week to work with students in various classrooms. Our volunteer tutors support teachers and students by providing additional guidance in reading, writing, and other academic areas, helping students build confidence and strengthen their skills.
Our tutors are retired teachers and experienced educators who bring a wealth of knowledge, patience, and care to their work with our students. Their dedication and commitment help create a supportive learning environment where every child has the opportunity to grow and succeed.
